Pictum Croton This decorative plant belongs to a large variety of Codiaeum Variegatum, a very formal way of naming all crotons and that is its most popular name. Bird of Paradise With the scientific name of strelitzia and commonly known with most popular names of crane flower or bird of paradise is an evergreen and perennial species that produce a very conspicuous relatively great in size flower, here photographed to help you recognize it better. Perhaps the most featured part of this plant is its very stunning flower shape that is similar to the head of an exotic tropical bird. In this photo we can admire this flower with all its flashy and contrasting orange and blue colors. Another close-up showing the uncommon flower design.
