Yucca Elephantipes

Spineless Yucca or yucca guatemalensis Its scientific name is Pandanus Tectorius, but is also known as Yucca elephantipes and other popular designations as Hala and Tourist Pineapple. This sample with a single stem can be cultivated also as an ornamental plant indoors, although a full-grown one could reach several meters of height outdoors. Single-trunk Yucca Elephantipes, not so high as one meter and a half, growing indoors. It could be noted that the thickening to the the base of this houseplant is the main characteristic in order to recognize it. This potted Yucca Elephantipes, also known as Curve-leaf Yucca, is showed from above to help you recognize this houseplant, even though this species is commonly found outdoors. This last picture of the Yucca (a.k.a. Yucca Guatemalensis or Soft-Tipped Yucca) is displaying how the stem or trunk is formed by taking off or cutting down the inferior leaves that could be decaying or withering.

Indoor Cactus or Pencil Plant The pencil cactus, known by its scientific name as Euphorbia tirucalli, can reach a height of 30 feet, but as an indoor houseplant rarely exceeds 6 feet. This type of cactus is also considered a hard-to-kill houseplant because it is easy to grow and maintain. This potted pencil stick succulent (Euphorbia tirucalli) is displaying entangled branches that give a different effect as a houseplant because its less known sort of foliage, as not showing the most common leaf forms. A slender stemmed plant also known as Pencil Cactus in a view from above that shows straight stems making up a geometrical composition with its lines.
